“…In 2010, we approached Mahindra Satyam with high level requirements and design options to help improve our "Move Product" supply chain. Mahindra Satyam’s design team were able to research the options and collaborate with Client’s architecture and Business Partnering IT teams to ultimately develop a SharePoint application solution hosted in the Amazon cloud.
This solution, launched in January 2011, enables the "touch less" movement of 3000 import export documents per week from over 50 client sites to their external Logistics Control Tower vendor.
The solution consolidates over 70 sources of Client’s information into a single source that has reduced processing time of over 4,000 shipments per month by 20 minutes per shipment. Other functional areas within our business are now looking at this solution to potentially streamline their business processes as well.
