C. P. Gurnani Chairman cum Managing Director
Gurnani (CP to his colleagues) provides strategic direction to Mahindra Satyam BSG. CP also spearheads Mahindra Satyam BSG’s parent company Mahindra Satyam as a Chief Executive Officer. Prior to his current role, CP headed Tech Mahindra’s Global Operations, Sales and Marketing functions, and led the development of Tech Mahindra’s Competency & Solution units. CP’s inimitable style of leadership combined with his sharp focus on customer experience has helped Tech Mahindra to emerge as one of the leading providers of IT Services and Telecom Solutions to the global telecom ecosystem.
CP has extensive experience in building international business, start-ups, turnarounds, joint ventures and mergers & acquisitions. In a career spanning over 28 years, he has held several leading positions with HCL Hewlett Packard Limited, Perot Systems (India) Limited and HCL Corporation Ltd. Prior to joining Tech Mahindra, CP was the Chief Operating Officer and a co-founder of Perot Systems (India) Limited, initially set up as HCL Perot Systems. At HCL Perot Systems, CP orchestrated the HCL Corporation and Perot Systems joint venture from its inception to making it one of India’s top IT services companies.
CP received a chemical engineering degree from the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela. He serves on the boards of CanvasM, Tech Mahindra (Thailand) Limited, Tech Mahindra (Beijing) IT Services Limited, Mahindra Logisoft and Tennenbaum Institute in Georgia Institute of Technology among others.
CP takes keen interest in community work and was nominated by Ernst & Young for the Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2007.

Sujit Baksi Director
Sujit has over 30 years of experience in the areas of people management, operations management and corporate strategy. He brings this experience into play at Mahindra Satyam BSG by providing guidance in the organization’s strategic decision-making process, business acquisition initiatives and organizational development.
At Tech Mahindra, Sujit leads the HR, Resource Management Group, Infrastructure functions including Technical Infrastructure Management, Training (Technical & Behavioral), Managed Services and the Administrative functions. Sujit also spearheads the BSG operations and has played a significant role in setting up and establishing the business in this space. Prior to Tech Mahindra, Sujit was with Lehman Brothers where he was Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer. His track record includes being President-Global Operations, vCustomer Services and CEO-HCL Technologies (BPO Solutions & Services). He was also EVP-HR, HCL Technologies and has worked with TCS, Ranbaxy Laboratories, Bank of India and Union Carbide.
Sujit is a graduate from Presidency College, Kolkata having completed his post graduate specialization in Personnel Management from XLRI, Jamshedpur.

T. N. Manoharan Director
A member of the ICAI with 26 years of standing, Mr. Manoharan served as the President of ICAI during the year 2006-07. Nominated by the Government to the Board of Satyam Computer Services Ltd., he made significant contribution for the revival of the Company within a short span of time. During his association with the ICAI, he was actively involved in many initiatives such as preparation of the road map for transition of the Government accounting system; Convergence with IFRS in India; accounting reforms with reference to Local Bodies; making reforms in the CA education system and pioneered proactive amendments to the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949. Mr. Manoharan was Chairman of ICAI of Accounting Research Foundation. He was in the Board of the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) and in the Committees constituted by RBI, SEBI, C&AG and CBDT during 2006-07. He was a member of the International Accounting Education Standards Board of IFAC for 2 years upto November 2007 formulating global education standards for accounting professionals.
Manoharan is presently Chairman of the National Committee on Accounting Standards and Taxation of the Confederation of Indian Industry. He is member of the Appellate Authority constituted by the Government of India with reference to the disciplinary mechanism of the Chartered Accountancy profession in India. Mr. Manoharan is a member of the working group constituted by International Accounting Standards Board (ISAB) for making recommendations on “IFRS for SMEs”. Mr. Manoharan has authored books for professionals and students and has addressed Professional forums in India and Abroad. Mr. Manoharan has been conferred the “Life Time Achievement” award in 2005 and “For the Sake of Honour” award in 2007 by the Rotary International and the “Super Achiever” award in 2006 by the Lions International. He visited Australia on invitation by the University of Queensland, as “Dean’s Distinguished Visitor” to facilitate research on Business Sustainability and Corporate Governance during September 2009. He received the “Business Leadership Award” from NDTV Profit in 2009 and in the Business category, the CNN IBN “Indian of the Year 2009” award. The Government of India has selected him for conferment of “Padma Shri” award for the year 2010.

T. N. Manoharan
T.N. Manoharan was appointed to the Board on January 15, 2009 as an independent director. Manoharan is a member of the ICAI with 25 years of experience as a chartered accountant in India. Manoharan is also a visiting faculty member at the Reserve Bank of India Staff College. Previously, Manoharan served as Chairman of the ICAI Accounting Research Foundation, President of the ICAI, member of the Accounting Standards Board of the ICAI and member of the Accounting Standards Committee of SEBI. Manoharan is currently a member of the board of directors of Sahara India Financial Corporation Limited, Alpha Capital Management Private Limited, the Nani Palkhivala Arbitration Centre and MCA Management Consultants Private Limited. Manoharan holds a bachelors degree in commerce from Pachaiyappa’s College, Madras University, a masters degree in commerce from Sri Venkateswara University, Andhra Pradesh, and is a law graduate from Madras Law College, Madras University

Sanjay Kalra
Kalra, 46, is the CEO of Tech Mahindra Limited. In his earlier role at Tech Mahindra he spearheaded the BT relationship, Research & Development services for telecom equipment manufacturers and transformation/business process reengineering services. He is also responsible for Mergers & Acquisitions for Tech Mahindra.
Prior to joining Tech Mahindra, Kalra was the Chief Executive Officer of DSL Software (a joint venture between HCL Technologies Ltd. and Deutsche Bank), which is focused on providing IT and BSG solutions to capital markets. Kalra has also served at HCL as President of HCL Technologies Europe and was responsible for the creation and incubation of Cisco’s first outsourced Research & Development center in India. With global roles in Schlumberger Limited and Tata Unisys, Kalra has extensively leveraged global delivery to create new products and business lines, nurtured start-ups and led high growth businesses. Kalra was responsible for cross-border transactions involving the purchase of Deutsche Software from Deutsche Bank, Apollo Contact Center from BT in Northern Ireland and Axes Technologies in India.
Kalra received a degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi and is a recipient of the “Outstanding Contribution Award for National Development” from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi Alumni Association. In addition to his responsibilities at Tech Mahindra, Kalra’s principal directorships include his serving as a director on the board of directors of CanvasM Technologies Limited.

Ulhas N. Yargop
Ulhas N Yargop, 55, is the President, IT Sector and Member, Group Management Board of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.
Yargop joined Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd in 1992 and has worked as General Manager — Corporate Planning, General Manager — Product Planning, General Manager, Mahindra-Ford Project, and as Treasurer of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. He was appointed as President, IT Sector in 1999. The IT Sector includes Tech Mahindra (focused on the telecom vertical) and Bristlecone (focused on supply chain consulting). Yargop is also responsible for Mahindra SIRF, the corporate venture capital activity of the Mahindra Group. He has previously worked with GKN Automotive Inc., USA as Director of Finance and later with GKN Invel Transmissions Ltd., New Delhi as General Manager — Commercial. He also worked with The Standard Batteries Ltd., Mumbai as Vice President — Industrial.
Yargop received a bachelor of technology degree in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and a master’s in business administration degree from the Harvard Business School.
