Mahindra Satyam was the Platinum Sponsor of NASSCOM’s first annual Global Engineering Leadership Summit 2009

Mahindra Satyam was the Platinum Sponsor for NASSCOM‘s first annual Global Engineering Leadership Summit 2009 held from 17 – 18 November 2009 at Hyatt Regency, Mumbai.

The Global Engineering Leadership Summit 2009 provided a platform for the delegates to get ‘real world’ information about the industry directly from top industry professionals. It also provided an excellent platform to build synergies and share some best practices. The event was structured to ensure that the topics are concurrent with the present day needs of the global user industry and will forecast the trends and expectations.

This thought-provoking and extensive two-day international summit had distinguished leaders across the spectrum of industries— Aerospace, Automotive, Telecom, Industrial Equipment and others—that are pioneering outsourcing of engineering services.

At the summit, Karthikeyan Natarajan, Vice President and Head, Integrated Engineering Solutions, Mahindra Satyam, spoke on “ Global & Local Insights - Enablers & Inhibitors.”

Observations from the event:

  • NASSCOM-Booz report on ESO has estimated business to India to be USD 50Bn by 2020 from an earlier estimate of USD 40Bn. For the current year, it is in the range of USD 9-9.5 Bn.
