Mahindra Satyam achieves CMMI Level 5 certification |

- This certification is the highest Standard in Quality Software Delivery
- Development Centres at Bangalore, Chennai and Pune achieve CMMI Level 5 certification

| Hyderabad, 01 February, 2011: Mahindra Satyam, a leading global consulting and IT services provider, today announced that it has been assessed at Level 5 for the CMMI Version 1.2-Development model for its development centres at Bangalore, Chennai and Pune. The assessment led by KPMG
as per the SCAMPI methodology evaluated Mahindra Satyam on stringent parameters including implementation of Process Performance Models. |

| Commenting on this occasion, Dr. Rajiv Nag, Senior Advisor, KPMG, said “During the appraisal, it was found that Mahindra Satyam applies quality processes and practices in all aspects of project execution and delivery, consistently and effectively. This was especially true for high maturity practices relating to Quantitative Project Management, Proactive Defect Prevention and Estimation. It was also heartening to note that Mahindra Satyam made a special effort to ensure that processes remained effective and sensible and that process compliance did not lead to unnecessary overheads and bureaucracy.” |
