Mahindra Satyam expands sales team in Malaysia

(NYSE:SAY), a leading global consulting and IT services provider, announced today that it has appointed two Malaysian IT veterans, Azlan Othman and Rasedi Mohamad. These appointments highlight Mahindra Satyam’s drive to accelerate growth in key industries and solutions segments in Malaysia. |

| Mahindra Satyam has appointed Azlan and Rasedi to the position of Senior Sales Manager. Azlan comes with over 18 years of IT Sales experience of working with organizations like HP, Logica and Teradata. |

| Rasedi joins Mahindra Satyam from IBM and has over 15 years of experience.
Speaking on his appointment, Rasedi Mohamad, Senior Sales Manager, Mahindra Satyam said, "Our addition to the Malaysian sales operations provides Mahindra Satyam with relevant local experience which enables it to penetrate into existing and new verticals. Our efforts will facilitate Mahindra Satyam’s efforts to expand its presence in Malaysia.” |

| Mahindra Satyam has been present in Malaysia since 2001 and has a Global Solution Center in Cyberjaya, Malaysia’s prominent ICT corridor in conjunction with MDeC (Multimedia Development Corporation), which oversees the MSC Malaysia initiative. Recently, Mahindra Satyam announced it plans to grow its Global Solution Center (GSC) operations in Malaysia by moving more global software development and delivery operations to its 1100 Seat Global Solution Centre (“GSC”), located at a 15-acre site at Cyberjaya. Presently, the center has 500 full-time local engineers serving local and global customers. |
