| Notebook Distribution in Government Schools |

| In Bhubaneswar and Chennai, distribution of notebooks for school children of Government Schools and Corporation Schools is going on. |

| The first phase of note book distribution was organized on 17th July ‘10 at Kabaripada Primary School, Gadakona, Chandrasekharpur Bhubaneswar. 12 Volunteers from Mahindra Satyam participated in the distribution program. 58 children were given note book kits and slate. |

| The distribution program is scheduled till mid August 2010 in various Government schools. The second phase of note book distribution was organized on 31 July, 2010 at Chandrasekharpur Village Primary School. A total of 65 children belonging to class 1 to 5 received notebook kits and slates. 18 Mahindra Satyam volunteers participated in the distribution program. Phase three of the distribution was organized on 7th August, 2010 at Niladri Vihar Primary School. 285 children were given notebook kits and slates. Senior Mahindra Satyam leaders and associates made the program memorable. |

| In Chennai, Mahindra Satyam Foundation organized the Notebook Drive in July 2010 in four corporation schools (Thoraipakkam Higher Secondary School, Thoraipakkam High School, Kodambakkam Higher Secondary School, and MGR Nagar High School). A team of 65 volunteers visited these schools and interacted with the kids during the distribution program. An IPS officer and senior leaders from Mahindra Satyam were invited to take part in the drive. A total of 2,562 set of notebooks and 861 geometry boxes were distributed to 1,281 students. |
