| Notebook Donation Drive @ Hyderabad
|

| Notebooks are essential to learn and write. Children studying in Government Schools are unable to buy notebooks due to poverty which in turn hinders their ability to learn. This dire need for notebooks was recognized by Mahindra Satyam Foundation and every year a donation drive for notebooks is conducted in all Mahindra Satyam locations across all cities. This donation drive for notebooks has been going on since 2005.
Thousands of generous Mahindra Satyam Associates donate for the notebooks during the drives. These donations are used to procure notebooks and stationery and distributed to hundreds of poor school children.

| A set of six long notebooks along with a pen is given to school children of classes 6 to 10 whereas a set of 5 Short Notebooks along with pencil, sharpener, eraser and scale is given to the children of classes 1 to 5.

| This year, the donation drive for notebooks was conducted across eight Mahindra Satyam locations in Hyderabad. The notebook drive at Mahindra Satyam locations in Chennai and Bhubaneswar will be conducted during May/June 2011. |
|
| During 2010-2011 more than 20,000 notebooks were distributed to 5,000 plus Govt. School children both in urban and rural schools. The donations raised till now will support approximately 2,000 school children with notebooks. |
