| Mahindra Satyam Foundation was instrumental in ensuring that the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated in an eco-friendly manner among Mahindra Satyam associates and other associates of member companies of ITSAP ( The IT & ITES Industry Association of Andhra Pradesh) formerly HYSEA. 1,200 ganesh idols made of clay were promoted. Proceeds of the sales was donated to Sadhana Institute of Mentally Handicapped, Nacharam, Hyderabad on 25 September, 2010 at their premises. Sanjeev Jain, Member ITSAP Managing Committee & Leader CSR Forum; Nagarjuna Malladi from Mahindra Satyam, and V C Kumar from Mahindra Satyam Foundation were present at the gathering. The team toured the institute and interacted with the children and watched them paint. Later the proceeds were handed over to the Head of the institute Madhusudan Reddy. |
